The college has approval from MCI; the MBBS program was started in the academic year 2008-09 with an intake of 100 students. Over the years, NMCH has made great progress, and the number of MBBS seats will increase to 150 in 2018. By 2023, the college has expanded its capacity to its age and now has an annual intake of 250 students, and all the programmes are approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
